Well, I finally did it!


I made a beat in Ableton Live! This is my first project from my Introduction to Ableton class from Berklee College of Music. It’s true, Ableton is super easy and fun to work with once you get a tour around the software. I made this entire beat on a PC using only my mouse and keyboard to control the MIDI. Continue reading

Great Passions

I recently enrolled in a few Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) from Coursera and Berklee College of Music. I’m currently enrolled in Developing Your Musicianship, Introduction to Ableton Live and Introduction to Guitar. All of my classes just started this week and so far I’ve spent some time watching the current lesson in Musicianship and a few minutes of Ableton. As a veteran attendee of each Soundset festival, and countless other indoor and outdoor festivals and shows alike, I am here to provide you with guidance on your Soundset festival prep. I’ll cover three basic areas: footwear, clothing and supplies.
